Solution Engineer / Pre-sales Consultant

You will team up with the international Sales Account Executives to provide more solution expertise regarding offerings and solutions

The Solution Engineer acts as a link between the customer’s needs and potential solution value. This role is imperative to the success of sales opportunities.

The objective of the Solutions Engineer job is to help Account Executives progress and close sales opportunities. The Solutions Consultant role helps bridge the gap between technical buyers and Account Executives.

The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

  • Product presentations
  • Offer deep technical expertise around our software offerings
  • Tailor demonstration execution to prove how business objectives are accomplished
  • To take ownership for drafting and managing high quality and competitive responses to RFPs and RFIs.
  • Deliver quotes to Customers
  • Understand competitive offerings and how to position against them
  • Participate in trade shows and other marketing & content activities
  • Organize training sessions for sales partners on how to sell and position the Company and its solutions on the market.


Qualifications/Skills Desired and Preferred:

  • A BS or preferably a MS degree in Communications or related technical field plus 3-5 years of experience
  • International experience in Solutions Engineering or consulting experience is a plus
  • Enterprise software or contact centre industry experience a plus
  • Native in English & French a plus
  • Knowledge in the following areas is critical: CTI, CRM (applications), Voice recording, PBX/ACD/IVR
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Ability to retain and build Product Knowledge
  • Excellent team player with ability to motivate cross-functional teams
  • Superb writing & communication skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office and publishing tools
  • Ready to travel on a regular basis across Europ
